My thoughts on twit.tv's podcast “IOS TODAY 365 BEST APPS FOR YOUR PETS”
I recently watched the video podcast “IOS TODAY
365 BEST APPS FOR YOUR PETS” episode. Posted 10/17/2017 on https://twit.tv. This was my first time watching
this podcast, it interested me because I actually do let my cat attack one of
my monitors and look for ways to entertain him so that he doesn’t bother me
when I am using my PC.
While the shows is designed pretty well with the layout of
the broadcast, the audio quality was good. I didn’t think the content was that
good. Most of the time they talked about trial apps,
that were basically pay to
play kids games, or pay for services that I didn’t really have a use for.

When they did go in to something that I found interesting like
the GPS tracker for dogs there was nothing about the technical aspects of this
just basically, “yeah it’s cool”. I want to know what kind of GPS it uses or
what sort of services can use it, does it run on cellular or how do it actually
send the data to the users. I saw that it was a pay for service so I imagined
it was some sort of cellular data transmission, but that wasn’t talked about I
more guessed on what they were showing and sort of stopped paying attention to
what they were saying.
They hosts kind went off topic from what the segment was about and started talking about the Apple Watch abilities which I actually found
interesting but I had no clue they were going to be discussing this based on
the title and the content prior. Mentioned some features of the Apple watch Gen
3 that I was wondering about as I am thinking of getting one.
During the podcast there was a bunch of basically advertisements,
which I guess makes sense, they
have to get money somehow but wasn’t expecting it. The advertisements actually had some cool software though I found some
of them more interesting than the cat games they were playing earlier in the
episode.

I guess over all I was expecting the broadcast to be more
technically inclined, not just “this is a neat app to waste time” sort of
thing. I would watch another one again, maybe I just picked the wrong one.
